My name is Jeremiah and this is my website. 😀

I’ve been an amatuer radio operator since 1998. Before that I was an avid Shortwave listener since the age of 7 years old.  I’ve been fascinated by the wonders of RF for a majority of my life.

This wonder of mine got me into the LMR and telecommunications industries shortly after high school with the help of my friends on Ham radio. This got me to go back to college(I had been there once before for an unrelated degree) to get my AAS in Electrical Eng. Tech. for RF and Data communications. The push toward IP in the industry push me to get a third AAS in Network Admin and Design which has served me well these past years.

Because of my early start in LMR, Telecommunications, and Computer Networking it’s put me in a place where I see quite a bit of  “stuff” in the field.  Everything from fixing pagers to site construction. It really has been a great ride so far and I hope it keeps going.

I now run my own Telecommunication contracting company, JPTelecomm. Where I do everything from Repair radios to build radios site from the Ground up. If you  like more info please go to my company page, www.jptelecomm.com.

My main focuses right now are to improve my home amateur radio station and my home. I’ve been working on setting up my home tower to the specs of a commercial radio site. A long with this I have been working to get my home off the commercial power grid with the idea of making it a more reliable location to operate in emergency situations.

I hope this site will serve as a way to share the information from my projects. If it was not for the openness and willingness of other amateur radio operators who helped me along I would not be where I am today. I hope that I can do the same for other who are looking to expand their knowledge as well.
